MEDIA ADVISORY - Conference Focuses on Inclusion of People with Disabilities in National Service |

WASHINGTON D.C. - Representatives of the Corporation for National and Community Service, national service programs, self-advocacy groups, disability organizations, and individuals with disabilities will gather to recognize the accomplishments of the past decade and strategize what the future might hold for inclusive national service. The event serves as a forum for the national service and disability communities to identify, develop, and share innovations that provide a place for all Americans to engage in service that responds to community needs.
Speakers include Claude A. Allen, Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy; David Eisner, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service; Andrew J. Imparato, President and CEO of the American Association of People with Disabilities; Dr. Patricia A. Morrissey, Commissioner of the Administration on Developmental Disabilities, and John P.
