Announcement: Important Changes to the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Plan (KCHIP)
Beginning Nov. 1, 2008, KCHIP will have an easier application process. On this date, we will begin accepting mail-in applications.

Our mission is to provide health insurance coverage to low income, uninsured children in Kentucky.
KCHIP staff knows that access to health care is very important in maintaining good health. We also know that prevention is a big part of health care. Immunizations, well-child checkups and other preventive services provided through KCHIP help children get healthy and stay healthy.
