The Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP) provides management and oversight for the street projects contained in the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The ALCP is a key safeguard that was part of Proposition 400 and represents more than $1.8 billion of investment over the next 20 years. Traffic Data, Forecasts and Modeling

Intelligent Transportation Systems, or ITS, is the application of technology based solutions such as advanced sensors, computers, electronics and communication technologies, to improve the overall safety and efficiency of the regional multimodal transportation system. The program helps coordinate regional activities, meet federal requirements and recommend ITS infrastructure investments in the region. Transportation Safety Planning Program
This program, launched in 2001, has begun identifying key regional transportation safety issues and needs, and possible steps for addressing them through initiatives at state, regional and local levels.
