Can I request a Statement even though I am receiving benefits?
  Question
I am getting Social Security benefits, but I am still working two days a week. I want to get a Social Security Statement to make sure that my earnings for last year were reported to you. Can I still request one?
  Answer

Yes, you can use our online request form. The Statement you receive in about 4 weeks will show your year-by-year earnings, but we won't give you any benefit estimates since you already know how much your payments are. (You received an initial notice when you first applied for benefits, and each year you get a notice telling you about the annual cost of living adjustment.)

Please remember that your earnings for last year may still be in process and so may not yet appear on your record. If you had more than one employer, we may not have processed all their reports. However, most reported earnings for any year should be posted by September of the following year.
