Chief Boatswain-Greg Walker, Hometown: Jacksonville , FL

Been on NANCY FOSTER since, February 2006.

AB Walker was previously in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer for 20 years. He was a Craftmaster on Landing Craft, Utility (LCU) boats for EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) for five years and was also part of the Career Recruiter force of the US Navy for seven years. He currently resides in Charleston, SC with his wife, one son and four daughters.

Boatswain Group Leader - Gordon Pringle, Hometown: Ivydale, West Virginia

Been on NANCY FOSTER since, February 2008.

BGL Pringle was born in the wild and wonderful state of West Virginia, in the county of Clay, and the very small town of Ivydale. After graduating from high school, he entered into military service where he spent two wonderful years in the sunny tropics of South Vietnam. After this escapade, he worked in WV for awhile but decided a life of adventure was for him. He then joined NOAA in 1972 on the FERREL. From that time until the present he has served on five different NOAA vessels. He quotes; “Like the mountains he came from, the grass is always greener on the other side”.

General Vessal Assistant - James Heffernan, Hometown:Elizabeth City, NC

Been on NANCY FOSTER since, June 2008.

GVA Heffernan was born in Dublin, Ireland and now resides in Elizabeth City, NC. He has been married for 35 years and has two sons. He just had a grandson and is expecting another grandchild.

Deck Utilityman - Ben Nolan, Hometown: Aquasco, Maryland

Been on NANCY FOSTER since, February 2008.

AB Nolan was previously in the US Navy at ACU - 4 as a Loadmaster. He is married to his wife Ann and has three sons who reside in Norfolk, VA.

ABS

Able Bodied Seaman - Jeremy Brock, Hometown: Camas, WA

Been on NANCY FOSTER since, February 2008.

AB Brock grew up in the stunning mountains of Southwest Washington. He served in the US Navy as a Gunner’s Mate during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then attended a two year maritime school in the beautiful Northwest where he earned his Able Bodied Seaman endorsement. Jeremy enjoys playing golf in his time off
