Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program was enacted in
1990 and reauthorized in 1996, 2000 and 2006.
Title
XXVI of the Public Health Service Act as amended
by the Ryan
White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act
of 2006 delineates the statutory requirements
of the program; HRSA develops policies that
implement them. Policy
notices provide guidance to grantees in understanding
and implementing legislative requirements.
