Promote your organization's food safety expertise and commitment to the public by offering the "Cook It Safely" consumer brochure from the International Food Safety Council. The brochure offers advice and tips on food safety at home.

  1. A reproducible version (PDF) of the brochure is provided in this Guide; photocopy two-sided, fold and distribute through retail food establishments, through publicity, at local health fairs and through schools and community organizations.
  2. Before photocopying, you may wish to stamp your organization's name in the space provided on the back of the brochure.
  3. Information on how to order pre-printed color copies of the "Cook It Safely" brochure and a brochure holder is provided in this Guide.
  4. Please note: The brochure is intended strictly for consumer use; it should not be used for employee training. Internal temperatures listed in the brochure are for home use; they are not the same as temperature guidelines in the FDA Model Food Code for restaurants, foodservice and retail operations.
