Laboratory Director Mike Anastasio reaffirmed the Laboratory's committment to Northern New Mexico during groundbreaking ceremonies for the Laboratory Foundation's new building last Friday in Española. Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., Rep. Tom Udall, D-N.M., and other officials took part in the groundbreaking east of the foundation's current leased offices. Anastasio said a strong, vibrant community is key to the Laboratory's success. He said the Lab will continue to partner with the foundation and build a better future by providing opportunity through education for residents of Northern New Mexico.
