Veterans who work at the Laboratory can learn about benefits available to them at a presentation today in the Physics Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3.
Jake Martinez of the state Department of Veteran’s Services will lead the presentation beginning at 9 this moring. Martinez also will answer questions from the audience from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
The presentation is sponsored by the Laboratory’s Veteran’s Committee and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (HR-OEOD). Martinez will give an overview of the various benefits available to veterans and their family members, and update Laboratory veterans on current activities and proposed changes regarding veterans benefits and services.
