Tickets can still be purchased for Sunday's Albuquerque Isotopes baseball game at Isotopes Park. The Laboratory/Northern New Mexico Day at Isotopes Park features the Isotopes against the Memphis Redbirds, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
Lab personnel and Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico residents can purchase tickets online until 2 p.m., Saturday (Aug. 27). The Web site allows users to buy the $5 tickets as well as discounted box seats at $7 a ticket. A processing fee of 75 cents per ticket will apply for all online orders. The special offer or passcode is LABS.
As in previous years, Lab employee Melissa Salazar Porter of Tritium Science and Engineering (ESA-TSE) will sing the National Anthem and the Protection Technology Los Alamos (PTLA) Honor Guard will display colors as part of the pre-game ceremony. Sunday (Aug. 28) also is fan appreciation night at Isotopes Park with festivities, including giveaways and an appearance by BirdZerk.
