Occupational Medicine to give flu shots today

By Public Affairs Office

January 10, 2005

Occupational Medicine (HSR-2) recently received a limited number of flu vaccine doses to administer to the Laboratory work force. About 1,000 doses will be administered free on a first come, first serve" basis today, according to a all-employee message.

The New Mexico Department of Health made the doses available, according to HSR-2 Leader Dr. William Brady. There are some restrictions on who is eligible to receive a flu shot. Those restrictions are detailed in the all-employee memo.

Those Laboratory personnel who meet the limited requirements can receive a flu shot between 10 and 11 this morning and 1:30 and 4 p.m., today at the nurses station at Occupational Medicine at Technical Area 3.
