Bradbury Science Museum opens Project Y exhibit

State Rep. Jeannette Wallace, left, talks with Laboratory retiree Hal Fishbine of Los Alamos at a reception for the opening of a new exhibit on the people of Project Y on Monday at the Bradbury Science Museum. Wallace's husband Terry is a Laboratory retiree and their son, also Terry, is principal associate director for science, technology, and engineering. Fishbine did X-ray machine research on imploding spheres and is one of numerous Manhattan Project pioneers featured in the exhibit. One hundred people attended the opening reception.
