This initial briefing provides the basic requirements for protecting computer resources and computerized data based on the sensitivity of the data and the standards that are associated with your responsibilities as a computer user. You will become familiar with your computer security responsibilities and be able to make informed decisions about the necessary protections for the computer system and information you work with.

This course is required of all LANL computer users. This course is required before a cryptocard or tokencard can be issued.
