Disseminates information on assistive technology, operates an adaptive technology lending program and provides outreach and training to faculty, staff and students at New Jersey colleges and universities.

Provides a trial period for New Jersey Colleges and Universities to borrow adaptive technology for students.

Enables individuals with disabilities to achieve employment outcomes consistent with their strengths, priorities, needs, abilities and capabilities.

Offers parents access to information on child care choices, programs, subsidies and services for children with special needs.

Works to ensure that pupils with disabilities in New Jersey receive full educational opportunities through programs and personal development activities.

Provides a list of current disability support information from every college and university in New Jersey, which includes contact information for each college, their disability support staff and admission's office.

Assists persons who are blind or visually impaired in the development, acquisition or updating of skills that will enable them to secure and maintain employment. This may include working in the labor force, operating their own business or supportive employment.

Makes assistive technology services available to all students served by the OOE's educational programming through the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology Educational Achievement Model (ATEAM) programs.

Provides training and information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including state and local government responsibilities under Title II of the ADA, as well as information on accessible electronic and information technology for people New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Postsecondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) provides resources, information, in-service training, and technical assistance for postsecondary institutions to improve existing services or to establish new services for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
