"Dance Alive" & "Dance Elite" Summer Program Auditions start Mon. June 9th!

Ballet Tennessee and the City of Chattanooga Will Hold Auditions for the 2008 Dance Alive and Dance Elite Programs the week of June 9th at local recreation centers throughout the City!

This exciting program, in its 12th year, provides a FREE two week dance intensive for girls and boys ages 8 - 12 with the Ballet Tennessee Company and talented national guest artists.

Participants audition and the auditions are open to everyone. No prior experience is necessary, just the desire to learn and experience an exciting artform and fun performance opportunity. Come out enjoy the dance and meet Ana and Barry VanCura of Ballet Tennessee. AUDITIONS WILL HELD AT THESE LOCATIONS and TIMES:

Monday, June 9th --Shepherd Recreation Center, 2124 Shepherd Road, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 10th---Carver Recreation Center, 600 N. Orchard Knob Avenue, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 11th--North Chattanooga Recreation Center, 406 May Street, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 12th---South Chattanooga Recreation Center, 1151 W. 40th Street, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

The Dance Alive & Dance Elite Workshops will be held July 14th - July 25th at Ballet Tennessee, located at 3202 Kelley's Ferry Road, from 9:00 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.
