The RPMS is made up of various applications or packages—a sampling is shown in this diagram, such as pharmacy, lab, scheduling, and referred care.
At the center of the diagram is the PCC patient database, which collects visit related data that is passed down by the various applications—this enables us to collect and separate information that is specific for certain areas such as pharmacy versus information that is specific for a certain patient encounter.
