The members of the Library Advisory Board serve an advisory role to the Library Director, addressing matters relevant to the library system and the services it provides to the community.

The Library Advisory Board consists of 11 members, 7 who are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council and 4 who are appointed by the County Commission.

2008 Monthly Meetings

Library Advisory Board meetings are usually held at 5 PM on the first Thursday of the month at various libraries. Agendas are posted in each library at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Call 768-5100 for more information.
