Worker injured in construction accident at Juanita pump station project site

King County received reports of an accident this morning involving a construction worker on the Juanita Bay Pump Station Replacement Project.

An employee of Cascade Painting was seriously hurt after falling from a scaffolding.

The worker was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with non-life threatening head and chest injuries. Cascade Painting is a sub-contractor to MidMountain Contractors, Inc., the construction firm under contract to King County to build the wastewater pump station.
