Overview
Brinson Fellows have a choice among a wide variety of research topics at the Fermilab Center for Particle Astrophysics. The Center is actively involved with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, the Dark Energy Survey, the Pierre Auger Project, the Cryogenic Dark Matter Search, the Chicagoland Observatory for Underground Particle Physics, the Supernova Acceleration Probe, the Gamma to milli-eV particle search, and other experiments as well as theoretical Astrophysics and Cosmology.
Application procedures will be specified when a new opening becomes available.
Brinson Post-Doctoral Fellowship
This Fellowship is intended to provide opportunities in the field of particle astrophysics for new or recent Ph.D. recipients who have demonstrated outstanding potential for research.
Brinson Pre-Doctoral Fellowship
This Fellowship is intended for Ph.D. students in the last year of study. Recipients spend the final year of graduate study in residence at Fermilab working with members of the Center.
