Chief FOIA Officer

Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta designated the Deputy General Counsel, Rosalind (Lindy) A. Knapp, as the Department's Chief FOIA Officer. Deputy General Counsel Knapp is working closely with the Departmental FOIA Officer, Kathy Ray, and the FOIA Public Liaisons throughout the Department to ensure efficient and effective compliance with the FOIA, including implementation of the Department's aggressive FOIA Action Improvement Plan.
