September 22-23, 2008: Corporate Climate Response - Chicago

How can you cut your company's climate impact and become more sustainable? This is the central question to be answered at this 8th international climate change strategy event. Corporate Climate Response, sponsored by Green Power Conferences, will provide the latest updates on how business is responding to global warming and preparing for a carbon and resource-constrained world. Through a series of corporate case studies and expert panels, this event reflects the holistic approach to climate response businesses are developing. Topics to be covered include cutting absolute carbon emissions, the outlook for national carbon trading, supply chain efficiency, and water footprinting. Robin Mugford, Director of the U.S. Commercial Service - Libertyville will speak on a panel entitled, "The Supply Chain Challenge: Curbing Emissions from China's Factories" about how the U.S. Commercial Service can help companies identify business opportunities and partners in China. Be the first to attend the AES Compliance Seminar in Chicago since the release of the New Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR).  CCBFA is sponsoring an Automated Export System (AES) Compliance Seminar and Workshop in Chicago, IL October 8 – 9, 2008.  The U.S. Census Bureau and port officers from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will participate as presenters.
