FSIS insures that meat, poultry, and egg products imported to the United States are produced under standards equivalent to U.S. inspection standards, and facilitates the certification of exported goods.

FSIS Final Rule Allows Chile to Export Poultry and Poultry Products to the U.S. (Oct 30, 2007)
The country of Chile will be allowed to export poultry and poultry products, processed in certified establishments within Chile, to the United States effective December 3, 2007.
