Parents' fights


Researcher Janice Probst of the University of South Carolina says a lot of children are in families in which parents had violent arguments.

"It's about 10 percent of families. And we defined a violent argument as one, when asked, how often do you end up hitting or throwing things – if they ever hit or throw things." (12 seconds)
