Climate Tables (aka F-6 Forms):

Climate tables are available for the airports at Bloomington, Champaign, Decatur, Lawrenceville, Mattoon, Peoria, and Springfield, as well as the NWS office in Lincoln. Only Peoria, Springfield, and Lincoln are considered to be the "official" climate station for their respective cities.  This means that climatological normals and extremes are updated using these sites.  The remaining sites are "supplemental", meaning that the climate station for that city is in a different location than the airport.

Daily Illinois Max/Min Temperature and Precipitation Maps are available for the last 7 days, and contain observed data from Illinois and nearby areas.

Maps from the last month and 12 months are available via the Illinois State Climatologist's webpage at http://www.sws.uiuc.edu/atmos/statecli/Current/current.htm . This includes analysis of how the observed conditions compare to climatological normals.

Looking for information on frost and freeze normals? These maps show the average dates of the first autumn freeze and the last spring freeze. The National Climatic Data Center has come up with specific frost and freeze probabilities as well..

Graphs of observed temperature and precipitation are available for several airports around the area.

Severe Weather Climatology:

Information on severe weather reports from central and southeast Illinois is available on our Severe Weather Climatology page. Summaries dating back to 2001 are available.

An interactive database of weather hazards is available from NCDC at: http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html. Select "Free Data" from the left hand menu, then scroll down to table #4 (Free Data D), then select option #3 (NCDC Storm Events Database).
