WHAT'S NEW:

  1. (June 2008) The TIC list of Foreign Official Institutions has been updated.
    -- It is effective for all TIC reports as of June 2008 and thereafter.
    -- This list does not include all such entities; it only includes entities submitted by TIC-reporters and reviewed by Treasury and Federal Reserve Banks.


  2. (June 2008) The SHLA Report as-of June 30, 2008, will be conducted as planned. The Federal Register Notice of mandatory reporting requirements has been published. The forms and instructions are the same as those used in the previous annual report, SHLA(June 2007). OMB has approved the normal three-year renewal of this data collection.


  3. (June 2008) Changes are proposed in Form D and instructions, to be effective beginning as-of March 2009. For details, see the "NOTICE of Proposed Revisions" at the top of the d-form webpage. In particular, note the Federal Register Notice of June 2008, which invites comments from the public on the proposed changes. Written comments should be received on or before August 1, 2008 to be assured of consideration.
