External trade, preliminary figures for October 2008

According to preliminary figures for October 2008 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 47,000 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 36,400 million fob. Thus, there was a trade surplus of ISK 10,600 million in October 2008, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.

There were 3,521 graduates with 3,553 graduations at the tertiary level of education in 2006-2007. Never before have more students graduated at the tertiary level of education in Iceland in one school year since Statistics Iceland started its data collection in 1995.
