The Department of Energy has set dates for the 2009 Public Tour Program at the Hanford Site. A total of sixty public tours are planned, with each tour taking approximately five hours. Buses will leave at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. from the Volpentest HAMMER Training and Education Center on each of the dates listed below:
- April 21st and 22nd
- May 6th, 7th, 19th, and 20th
- June 3rd, 4th, 16th and 17th
- July 15th, 16th, 28th and 29th
- August 12th, 13th, 25th and 26th
- September 15th and 16th
Online registration for participating in a 2009 Hanford Public Tour will begin on Monday, March 30, through this website. This is the only way that interested people may sign up to participate in a tour. We cannot reserve space on tours, nor are we able to maintain a waiting list for individuals who are unable to get a seat on a tour they hoped to register for.
