Hanford Site Tours
Office of River Protection Tour Media

Media tours are for invited offsite visitors; those associated with Hanford Site activities; and those not directly associated with Hanford programs but whose access to facilities and the Site could provide identifiable benefit to the government.

Tour agendas are tailored to address specific interests of the visitors.

Media Tour Requirements

Pre-registration Required.
Age 18 or older
Identification Driver's license, military identification, or passport.
Clothing Clothing suitable for an industrial environment-no shorts or sleeveless shirts. Hard-sole or closed shoes required.
Training General radiological training required if entering radiation zones.
Prohibited Articles See prohibited articles list.
Clearance/Badges U.S. Citizens: Visitor badges required. Tour Coordinator will arrange for appropriate badging.

Non-U.S. Citizens: Visitor badges required. If you are a foreign visitor, contact the Tour Coordinator at least 8 weeks prior to tour. (Foreign national clearances take 2-8 weeks for processing).
