Lockheed Martin provides Information Resource Management (IRM) services to the Hanford program under subcontract to Fluor Hanford. Lockheed Martin also provides IRM services to Office of River Protection contractor, CH2M HILL.

In support of the Hanford cleanup mission, Lockheed Martin is focused on integrating and innovating IRM systems and services to maximize cost efficiencies and enhance service quality for customers across the Site. Our staff of over 550 information technology (IT) professionals works closely with our customers to provide services including systems development and integration, information security, telecommunications and network engineering, wireless communications, desktop services, web solutions, maintenance and support, document imaging, records and information management and multi-media services.

Lockheed Martin, in partnership with Fluor Hanford, CH2M HILL, and the Department of Energy, established a Strategic Plan for IRM Services at Hanford. Their joint vision is to "enable the successful execution of Hanford's mission by providing information management and technology that add value to site processes while securely delivering and protecting information of a known quality in a usable form to the people who need it, where they need it, and when they need it."

One of the original 'enterprise companies' established in 1996, Lockheed Martin continues to bring non-Hanford clients and professional IT jobs to the local community in support of economic diversification efforts. Lockheed Martin and its employees are also active sponsors and supporters of community civic, charitable, and educational organizations such as United Way, March of Dimes, TRIDEC, Hispanic Academic Achievers Program, Columbia Basin College, and Washington State University Tri-Cities.
