Community

Passport to Wellness Walks on Friday mornings start May 30.

Free or low-cost college-level courses in various topics offered through Lifelong Learning and Senior Services at senior centers

Seniors are a vital and active part of the community. They volunteer their time and talents throughout the area ... many older adults continue to work ... they raise their families... they attend classes ... and they actively live!

Just as "no man is an island unto himself," neither is a community complete without the experiences and values of its older residents. The links/topics on this page reflect many aspects in which community and older residents are intertwined. You'll find here things such as educational opportunities for seniors who wish to continue learning and developing, and listings of senior centers and activities, as well as other community-related topics such as speakers who can address groups, or where to register to vote or how to get a handicapped-parking tag.

Senior Services works closely with many community-based organizations who serve all residents of Erie County. If you have questions, please call us at 858-8526.
