Vulnerability Assessment Techniques and Applications (VATA)

Risk and vulnerability assessments (RVAs) are used by communities to determine the vulnerability of people, property, and the natural environment to the risks posed by hazards.

The VATA Web site provides a central location to:

  • learn how and why RVAs are being conducted
  • network with researchers and practitioners
