The latter include forklifts, golf carts, industrial burden and personnel carriers, airport ground support equipment, truck stop electrification, port electrification, sweepers, scrubbers and more.

Much of our work focuses on helping businesses use their electro-drive equipment more efficiently and shift battery charging to off-peak (low-energy-use) periods. It's all part of our effort to help fleets maximize the benefits of electro-drive while managing electricity supply resources and controlling costs for all of our customers. 

As regulations and rising fuel costs spur ever-increasing growth in the use of grid-connected transportation technologies, SCE remains dedicated to serving as Southern California’s premier 21st-century alternative-fuel provider…and carrying on our long tradition of environmental leadership as part of our commitment to customer and community service.
