The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will award a contract to develop a practical and easy to use toolkit on workflow analysis and redesign that can be used by both small and large practices as well as other ambulatory settings in the selection and implementation of health information technology (IT) to support practice design entitled "Incorporating Health IT into Workflow Redesign. "
It is anticipated that 1 contract will be awarded from this solicitation, with the contract estimated to have a maximum budget of $500,000. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for a 12 month period of performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that best describes the requirement is 541611. The small business size standard is $6.5 million (provided for information only, this procurement is advertised on a full and open competition basis).
