List of CFR Sections Affected (LSA): LSA Compilation
1986-2000
The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) published four compilations
of the LSA. These compilations span the years of: 1949-63, 1964-72 (2
vols.), 1973-85 (4 vols.), and 1986-2000 (4 vols.). Each volume is organized
by CFR title then by year and includes actions take only on finalized
rules with the corresponding Federal Register page number. The volume
number appearing at the beginning of each column indicates the year (for
example, 51 FR corresponds to 1986, 52 FR corresponds to 1987).
Reference to this LSA will enable the user to find the precise text of
CFR provisions which were in force and effect on any given date during
the period covered. This LSA Compilation does not have the effect of law,
regulation or ruling. It is designed as a finding aid for historical research
in the various titles of the Code of Federal Regulations.
At this time, only the 1986-2000 LSA compilation is available electronically
on GPO Access. The 1986-2000 LSA compilation consists of four
volumes that can be searched or browsed. Documents are available as ASCII
text and Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
