The Hazardous Substance Release/Health Effects Database (HAZDAT) is a scientific and administrative database developed to provide access to information on the release of hazardous substances, toxins, and pollutants from Superfund sites or from emergency events. It also provides public health information on the effects of hazardous substances on the health of human populations and on the environment.
