RSA - Approved April 2003

RSA Keon CA v6.5 underwent an Information Technology (IT) security evaluation known as the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation (CCEV). Their results are described in an evaluation technical report produced by Common Criteria Testing Laboratories (CCTL).

The CCEV requirements met by RSA were mapped to the requirements for Certificate Authority vendors wanting to demonstrate technical interoperability with the FBCA. The result was that RSA had satisfied one-third of the FBCA requirements through the CCEV. On April 1, 2003, RSA satisfied the remaining requirements.

As a result, the Federal PKI Policy Authority approved the product in the same month to be included in the FBCA architecture.

The FBCA OA procured this product to install in June 2004.
