Description

Metro's Dial-a-Ride Transit (DART) offers variable routing in some areas within King County. By using vans that can go off regular routes to pick up and drop off passengers within a defined service area, DART service may allow you to arrange for transit service closer to a location. DART does not go door-to-door. It operates on a fixed schedule, but one that has more flexibility than regular Metro buses.

Call during business hours. You may leave a message at other times.

  • Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM - 9:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

See Metro Online for service areas.

Kitsap Transit also has DART Service. It operates in the Kitsap Lake area, in Illahee, the north end of Kitsap County, and in some areas of south Kitsap County. Call Kitsap Transit at 1-800-422-2877 the day before, but nor more than two weeks before you want to take your trip. Tell the reservationist where you want to go and when, and they will arrange your trip.

Pierce Transit has DART in the Orting area.
