Fruits and Vegetable Permit Information

USDA requires written permits for imported fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables (including fresh herbs and sprouts) for consumption from all foreign sources as well as Guam, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, or from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, under authority of Title 7 CFR 319.56 - Fruits and Vegetables. Only approved plant part(s) of the fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs are authorized entry. All entry requirements for imported fruits and vegetables for consumption (not for propagation/growing) can be determined by referring to the USDA, APHIS, PPQ Fruit and Vegetable Manual.
