Burger, fries and a soda


Researcher Lyn Steffen of the University of Minnesota says people who ate fried foods had a higher risk of metabolic syndrome.

"There was a 25 percent increased risk of developing metabolic syndrome for individuals who ate fried foods about once a day, either at home or away from home."  (9 seconds)
