Amber Waves has once again won a First Place award
from the National Association
of Government Communicators (NAGC)—this time for
the electronic edition, or eZine. Beating out finalists from
the Peace Corps, the U.S. Mint, and the State of Vermont,
the Amber Waves eZine was judged to be the Best Electronic
Publication produced by a local, State, or Federal government
entity in 2004. NAGC sponsors an annual competition, the Blue
Pencil (print) and Gold Screen (electronic) Awards, recognizing
excellence in written, filmed, audio/videotaped, published,
and photographed government information products.
The Amber Waves print edition won a First Place Blue
Pencil Award in the National Magazine category in 2003.
