Majid Khan, one of the suspected terrorists detained in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is suspected of helping with the research and plans for attacks against gas stations and water reservoirs throughout the United States.
Khan is believed to have been introduced by relatives, who are al Qaeda members, to 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Mohammad found Khan’s excellent English and knowledge of the United States very valuable.

The Pakistani national moved to the United States with his family in 1996 and lived in Baltimore, Md., before graduating from high school in 1999. During that time, Khan worked at his family’s gas station as an attendant.
This experience made Khan highly qualified to assist Mohammad with the research and planning to blow up gas stations. Khan is also suspected of working with Mohammad on plans to poison water reservoirs throughout the United States, and plans to assassinate Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

The “Sniper of Baghdad,” known also as “Juba,” celebrated the end of the holy month of Ramadan by distributing a video compilation of what he claimed were many of his kills of American soldiers, according to Pentagon policy reports.

This most recent video discuss the insurgents’ training process, and skill levels in shooting and hiding among the local residents. It also includes a staged interview with a militant Islamic leader who discusses the use and significance of snipers as an insurgent tactic.
