Offices within the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) are releasing grant applications for Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) professional development. The goal of this initiative is to provide educators with the 21st century skills and tools necessary to assume the role of a Technology Integration Specialist (TIS). Participants in this initiative will receive laptops and the equivalent of 40 days (320 hours) of professional development. Completers of the program will be eligible to apply for a credential in instructional technology integration awarded by the Office of Professional Preparation.
