April 8, 2008 HP-913 Treasury To Host Briefing on Financial Restatement Study U.S. Treasury officials will host a pen-and-pad briefing to discuss the Treasury-commissioned study The Changing Nature and Consequences of Public Company Financial Restatements. Secretary Paulson requested the study, conducted by University of Kansas professor Susan Scholz, as part of his capital markets competitiveness initiatives announced in May 2007.
