IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT H1N1 (formerly known as SWINE INFLUENZA) AND CONSULAR SERVICES
Due to the ongoing outbreak of Swine Influenza A (H1N1), the U.S. Embassy requests that those who seek consular services (visas and passports) and feel unwell or otherwise exhibit flu-like symptoms, postpone their visit to the consular offices.
Persons who cannot appear for visa interview appointments or appointments for other services will be allowed to reschedule appointments free of charge, as soon as their condition changes. Non-immigrant visa applicants should call 1-800-010-145 and leave their name, contact telephone number and current date of appointment and the call center will call back and reschedule them.
U.S. citizens are welcome to contact the Embassy by telephone or by e-mail should they need assistance.
The Embassy thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation.
