This website has been created and is maintained by thyroid cancer survivors.  Since October 1995, we have been developing a network of services that link thyroid cancer survivors and health care professionals around the world.  Our mission is simple:

  • To Educate, so we and our families better understand our disease.
  • To Participate, so others learn from our experience.
  • To Communicate, so we and our health care professionals better understand each others' needs.
  • To Support Research, for a future free of thyroid cancer.

This site maintains current information about thyroid cancer and support services available to people at any stage of testing, treatment, or lifelong monitoring for thyroid cancer, as well as their caregivers. It receives ongoing input and review from numerous thyroid cancer specialists. This site also serves as a resource for anyone interested in thyroid cancer survivors' issues.

ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc. is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (tax ID #52-2169434) of thyroid cancer survivors, family members, and health care professionals. We are dedicated to support, education, and communication for thyroid cancer survivors, their families and friends. We also sponsor Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, year-round awareness activities, and thyroid cancer research fundraising and research grants.
