May 8, 2007 Secretary Paulson to Participate in Forum on Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson, Jr. will moderate a forum discussion Thursday on the importance of an open economy and international investment for U.S. job creation and economic growth hosted by the Organization for International Investment and George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. On Friday, Secretary Paulson will travel to St. Louis where he will tour the facilities of two foreign-affiliated companies operating there to illustrate the importance of open investment in creating jobs and economic expansion in the U.S. At the first firm, bioMerieux, Secretary Paulson will tour the facilities and meet with staff.
