Disease Preparedness in Schools - An Online Training Module

The American School Health Association is proud to announce the release of Disease Preparedness in Schools: School Planning for Disease Outbreaks (Module 1 - Influenza).

This interactive, online training course will help school health professionals - Administrators, School Nurses, Teachers, and Mental Health Professionals - prepare for and respond to disease outbreaks that might affect schools.


Developed with an unrestricted educational grant from MedImmune, the module examines Influenza Facts, Signs and Symptoms, Types, Protective Measures, and more. In addition, the module describes the differences between Seasonal Flu and Pandemic Flu.
