Right now we have no intention of eliminating any Schedules. Before we establish any new contract vehicles we will determine the value of the offering and whether GSA currently provides those items or services through another contract.
The Office of Acquisition Management in conjunction with The Office of General Supplies and Services, The Office of Integrated Technology Services and The Office of the Controller. All Offices will work together to ensure there is no inappropriate duplication of efforts in contract offerings.
Customers will work with the Office of Customer Accounts and Research to find out which office within FAS can provide them with the most effective and efficient contract solutions. This office includes civilian and defense agency account managers responsible for handling all customer agency needs.
Within each business portfolio the Office of Acquisition Management develops Schedules and other contract vehicles. This Office works with program managers within a particular business portfolio to ensure both the contracting and program requirements are aligned.
Through the use of effective web and telecommunications technology, both contractors and customer are able to identify with FAS office will best meet their needs. In addition, the Office of Customer Accounts and Research is responsible for establishing a means for customers and supplies to speak with someone who can direct them to the right organization within FAS.
