SBIWTP Flow and Water Quality Data

The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) provides data relating to discharges and quality of wastewaters generated in the City of Tijuana under duties and responsibilities established in IBWC Minutes Nos. 261, 270, 283, 296 and 298 under the 1944 Water Treaty for the Solution of the Tijuana Border Sanitation Problem.

The Interactive Data Maps provide links to various monitoring stations in and around the SBIWTP. Water quality data for shoreline and kelp staions (Fecal and total Coliform), where applicable are available for the year 2000 and 2001.  Discharge records and available results of the South Bay Ocean Outfall flows for the year 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002.  Interactive maps are not to scale. The links below will link to 2003 data in .pdf format. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view any of the data provided on this page.
