ANL Research Highlights

As an Argonne postdoc, I conducted basic research on physical properties of hydrogen in metals and metal hydrides, and superconductivity of metal hydrides.

Hired as ANL Chemical Engineering staff after postdoc. Conducted research and development on advanced battery technologies for electric vehicle applications and stationary energy storage. Provided technical support to the DOE fuel cell development activities. Member of the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles (PNGV) Fuel Cell Technical Team. Associate Division Director, Chemical Engineering Division (2000-2005), responsible for the Fuel Cell, Battery, and Basic/Applied Science Departments.

Coordinate Argonne's electrochemical technology efforts in six divisions, including research on advanced batteries and fuel cells for stationary, transportation, and portable power applications. Coordinate Argonne work on hydrogen production and storage.
